Er staan 800 verschillende rassen appelbomen in de openbare ruimte. De leifruitrekken zijn wereldwijd uniek in de openbare ruimte. Van ongeveer 280 rassen komt er nog maar 1 ter wereld voor en dat is in IJsselstein.
